The Pork Picnic Shoulder Roast comes from the shoulder of the pig and is a tougher cut of meat with more marbling. It is cut from the thinner end of the shoulder, which makes it ideal for slicing, although you can make pulled pork out of it as well. This makes it great as a pot roast, with a rich porky flavor. Long and slow cooking makes it tender and tasty. Prefer to do a stew instead? Cube it and cook it with your favorite recipe for a treat that can’t be beat!
