We just love skirt steak as much as we love flank steak! Marinated overnight in our favorite recipe, shown below, grilled and sliced thinly perpendicular to the grain of the meat, just fantastic. This is a great, easy meal that always impresses, whether its a weeknight with the family or a big dinner for friends, you just can’t miss with this affordable, great tasting cut. Margarets Teriyaki Marinade This is one of Margaret’s recipes, and is my favorite marinade for flank steak, skirt steak or even a round steak. Mix together:
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup soy sauce
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
2 Tablespoon sesame seed
1 teaspoon ginger
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons sesame oil
¼ cup green onions diced
Throw all of this in a zip lock back with your meat and let it sit over night.
