The sirloin tip steak is a great everyday steak, and priced right. Great on the grill, or on a steak salad, or marinated. Our favorite way to prepare our sirloins is in our smoker, nice and tender. Sirloin Tips aren’t as tender as a strip or rib steak but the flavor is amazing!
Try sprinkling some McCormick’s “Montreal” steak seasoning on them, perfect!
You might also try to “reverse sear” your sirloins, this is how one of our favorite butchers does it at Arcadia Meats in Scottsdale, Arizona. Arcadia sells lots of our sirloin this way. Sear your sirloins for a few minutes per side on a very hot grill and then place in a 200 degree oven for 5 minutes, covered. Then pull from the oven, let rest, still covered, for 5 – 10 minutes and serve. Delish!
