Dry Aged Grass Fed Sirloin Tip Roast – Big! Enough for the whole family!
2.6 - 3.5 lbs

There are only 6 Sirloin Tip Roasts in an entire steer. This roast can be marinated and cooked on the grill or we recommend it be cooked wet (with water maybe 3/4 deep on the side). We’ve all done the slow cooker chuck roast pot roast type thing, but sirloin tip roast is a higher quality cut more suited to the oven, especially if you want it to come out medium rare and juicy. The sirloin tip roast goes into a 500 degree oven for 10 minutes per pound, then you turn off the oven and leave the roast alone for another ten minutes per pound. It may sound unconventional but it produces a tender, juicy roast rather than the shoe leather you might get in a medium oven for a longer time period. Be sure to let your sirloin tip roast sit at room temperature for one hour BEFORE roasting; it is much better if starts at room temperature!
